Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a workshop entitled (Environmental Pollution), in which Assistant Agricultural Engineer Jinan Abd Abbas was present.

The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of pollution, as it is represented by all activities, actions and methods carried out by humans, which have a significant role in causing damage and damage to any aspect of the natural environment, identifying the causes of pollution and explaining the types of pollution.

The workshop recommended the need for community participation to reduce environmental pollution and adopt environmentally healthy living habits, use environmentally friendly products through products that do not contain harmful substances, and dispose of waste in a safe manner through recycling and disposal of solid waste in a safe manner, and then emphasized the protection of health.
