The Dean of the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, published a joint scientific research with a group of international researchers that included more than 20 researchers in a prestigious international journal within the Scopus and Clarift classifications (Q2) entitled (Translation and psychometric properties of the Arabic version of the age discrimination scale for students Dentistry (ASDS-Ar): multi-institutional validation)
Translation and psychometric properties of the Arabic version of the ageism scale for dental students (ASDS-Ar): A multi-institutional validation
It was published in the journal Gerodontology (Geriatrics)

In this research, the 27-item ASDS instrument was translated from English to Arabic following recommended forward and backward translation guidelines. The translated version was subjected to a Content Validity Rating (CVR) and sent to dental students in 21 institutes from 10 different Arab countries. The results of the study showed this preliminary validation of the ASDS-Ar into a new 17-item scale with six components that has acceptable validity and reliability with distinction.
