Al-Qadisiyah University extends its warmest thanks, gratitude and appreciation to the Prime Minister, Professor Eng. Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, and His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, for their effective contribution and great role in issuing this unique historic decision..
With the tireless efforts of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and continuous since 2019 until now, and with the participation of supporting government parties, official approvals were obtained for the full expropriation of lands and areas belonging to Al-Qadisiyah University within its current buildings and future expansions, as ministerial decisions were issued (after they were recommendations) including the ownership and expropriation of an area of ​​​​(307) dunums and (11 thousand) which grant our university the full right to establish all Educational projects that serve the academic scene, thus ending an old era marked by restrictions and obstacles, and dawning a new era in which our esteemed university invests in a glorious future that benefits future generations after the determination to implement major projects in it, as the decision includes the complete expropriation of the following sites:
1- The site of the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy
2- The sites of the College of Engineering
3- The site of the complex of colleges of archaeology, technology and education for girls
4- The site of the cultural center
5- The site of the university housing on the ring road
6- The sites of the future medical complex to be established (the colleges of the medical group “medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and nursing” and the new teaching hospital) with a total area of ​​(206 dunums) on the ring road.
A thousand congratulations to our esteemed university, professors, affiliates and students for this unique historical achievement, and may the arms of those who struggled and worked hard to draw for generations a paved path with a glorious future in which Al-Qadisiyah University possesses its lands, independence, freedom, buildings, colleges and its ancient historical decisions. #Note
