An educational seminar on early detection of breast cancer was held at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Women’s Affairs Unit held an educational seminar entitled “Early Detection of Breast Cancer.” Presented by Asst. M. Nour Jalawi Jabbar and Asst. M.D. Nuha Shaker Abdul.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and its impact on improving the chances of recovery and reducing mortality rates. It also aimed to educate women and medical groups on self-examination.
The seminar recommended that women recognize the importance of regular self-examination, undergo periodic medical checkups, and provide psychological and social support programs for both infected and recovered women.
