A scientific symposium was held at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on the software revolution.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a scientific symposium entitled “The Software Revolution.” Presented by Ms. Bashayer Thabet Kamel, Ms. Shahd Riyadh, and Ms. Farah Rasool, the symposium aimed to achieve comprehensive digital transformation in society by developing smart tools that enable people to perform tasks faster and more efficiently using automation and artificial intelligence. This symposium also aimed to improve the quality of life through applications in health, education, transportation, and other services, and to support decision-making through data analysis and future prediction.
The symposium recommended the need to enhance digital education, integrate programming and digital skills into curricula from the early stages, invest in software research and development, support local innovation in the fields of software, particularly artificial intelligence and big data, raise awareness of cybersecurity, and educate individuals and institutions about the importance of data protection and securing digital systems.
