The course aimed to provide a comprehensive analysis of the biomechanical assessment of risks associated with oral and dental injuries in football and to review effective preventive measures to reduce these injuries. The research will address common types of injuries, their biomechanical mechanisms, and the protective role of mouthguards, in addition to the importance of health awareness and education.
The course recommended the mandatory use of dedicated mouthguards. Sports federations should seriously consider making the wearing of dedicated mouthguards mandatory for all football players, especially in younger age groups, to ensure maximum protection.
