A training course at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on the Gram stain method for bacteria
\nUnder the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course on the Gram stain method for bacteria, in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Rana Mishaal Salem, M. Marwa Salman Kazim Al-Jubouri, M. M. Laith Hussein Hadi, and M. M. Intizar Naim Dakhel participated.
\nThe course aimed to introduce and teach students how to make oral swabs and diagnose bacteria using Gram stain, which is usually used to determine whether you have a bacterial infection, and if the answer is yes, the test will indicate whether you have a Gram-positive or Gram-negative infection. Fungal infections can also be diagnosed using Gram stain, making it a versatile tool in microbiology. The course recommended that Gram stain be considered one of the most important stains used in hospitals to identify the type of bacteria.
