A workshop at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on the danger of the drug scourge on society

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Dentistry held an awareness workshop entitled (The Danger of the Drug Scourge on Society), in which Major Hassan Mahmoud Shaker, affiliated with the Directorate of Social Affairs, attended Drugs and psychotropic substances in Diwaniyah

The workshop aimed to learn about the concept of drugs, their causes and problems, how they pose a real threat to the life of society, what are the legal provisions, and what are the solutions to that.

The workshop recommended the need to educate society about the dangers of drugs and their harm in dismantling the family community. The role of the family in caring for its children must be activated and not get involved in temptations.
