Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, an awareness workshop was held in the Continuing Education Unit of the College of Dentistry entitled (Drugs and their Effects on Society), in which the jurist Colonel Abbas Bardan Habib lectured.

The workshop aimed to raise the level of students and make them aware of the seriousness of this widespread phenomenon in society and how it poses a real danger to it and to civil peace.

The workshop recommended the need to educate young people about the danger of drugs, confront them, and search for alternative ways that entertain young people and keep them busy with their life matters.
