A lecturer at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University publishes a joint research paper in a reputable international journal
The lecturer, A.M. Afrah Subaih Muhaisen in the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University, the research titled Molecular identification, virulence, and antibiotic-resistant genes characteristics of Staphylococcus spp., isolated from milk samples in a reputable international journal within the Scopus container for the year 2024, where the research was published in the Open Veterinary magazine and in cooperation with fellow researchers
The aim of the research was to study the genetic patterns of the Staphylococcus bacteria found in milk samples taken from different areas of the city of Diwaniyah. Also, 50 milk samples were collected from different areas of the city of Diwaniyah. Several biochemical tests were conducted on these samples in addition to bacterial culture. The growing cultures were used to extract DNA for the bacteria
The results of the research showed that there are many genetic forms of S.aureus, S.epiderms and S.intermedius bacteria present in milk samples that are dangerous to human health Animals
