An awareness seminar at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on bullying and its effects on the individual’s personality
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, held an awareness seminar on the topic (Bullying and its effects on the individual’s personality), in which Ms. Nour Jalawi Jabbar lectured
The seminar aimed to define bullying and how it develops in different environments such as universities, workplaces, or online, and to study how bullying affects the personality development of both the victim and the perpetrator, which helps to provide a comprehensive and integrated picture of the phenomenon of bullying and its impact on society
The seminar recommended organizing ongoing awareness campaigns throughout the year in universities and local communities to define bullying, its causes and effects, and to use the media and social media to educate about bullying and motivate individuals to report cases, as well as to raise awareness about cyberbullying in schools and public places, and to encourage safe and responsible use of the Internet
