Workshop at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on Human Behavior between Peace and War
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Dentistry, held a workshop entitled (Human Behavior between Peace and War), in which M.M. Nour Jalawi Jabbar and M.D. Ghasq Jalaa Jabbar lectured.
The workshop aimed to study how leadership affects the formation of group behaviors in times of war and peace, analyze historical examples of human behavior during times of war and peace, and benefit from the lessons learned from history to avoid future mistakes, in addition to studying how wars affect individual and collective behaviors, such as decisions, psychological endurance, and adaptation to difficulties.
The workshop recommended the need to encourage cooperation between governments, non-governmental organizations, and international institutions in developing effective strategies to support communities during and after wars. , and develop policies and programs that support peaceful solutions and avoid military escalation, and train individuals and communities on techniques for resolving conflicts in peaceful and constructive ways.
