A scientific workshop at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on tooth discoloration
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a workshop entitled (Tooth Discoloration) in which the trainee dentist Hawra Karim and the trainee dentist Fatima Muhammad lectured
The workshop aimed to identify the causes of tooth discoloration, whether external (such as coffee and smoking) or internal (such as medications and diseases) and to encourage the adoption of healthy habits to maintain the whiteness of teeth and reduce discoloration and promote the use of modern treatments to get rid of discoloration and improve the appearance of teeth
The workshop recommended the necessity of adhering to brushing teeth twice a day using a toothbrush and toothpaste suitable for whitening and reducing the consumption of substances that cause discoloration such as tea, coffee, and soft drinks, with gargling after consuming them, and visiting the dentist regularly to perform a deep cleaning and consultation on appropriate treatments for discoloration such as laser teeth whitening or bleaching Chemist
