A training course at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University dealt with nanotechnology in cosmetic dentistry
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (Nanotechnology in Cosmetic Dentistry) presented by Dr. Durar Kamel Jabbar and Dr. Nour Mahmoud
The course aimed to identify cosmetic nano filling materials, nano tools and devices used in the technology and their entry into teeth whitening, smile design and planning, and dental implants, and to know the benefits and disadvantages of nanotechnology in terms of cost and limited availability and can be complex, which increases the risk of errors if not handled properly
The course recommended knowing the benefits and disadvantages of the technology in terms of cost, as materials and equipment are more expensive and require specialists in this field, and advanced nanotechnology materials and techniques may not be easily available in all dental clinics, as nanotechnology may be complex, which increases the risk of errors if not handled properly
