A lecturer at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University publishes four research papers in international journals within Scopus containers
The lecturer at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University, Dr. Lama Hafez Abdul, published four research papers in international journals within Scopus containers. The first research paper was entitled (Manufacture and study of the properties of cadmium sulfide nanoparticles using the laser ablation method).
The study aimed to prepare and characterize cadmium sulfide oxide (CdS) particles using the laser evaporation method (Laser Ablation) in distilled water, with the use of a Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm, 480 mJ) to generate repeated laser pulses at a frequency of 6 Hz.
The second research paper was entitled (Characterization of nanostructures of CdS@Cu manufactured by the laser ablation method).
The research aimed to prepare nanoparticles of CdS@Cu using the laser evaporation technique in a liquid medium, with a focus on improving the optical and structural properties of the particles. The particles were confirmed to have a cubic structure and regular distribution
The third research is entitled (Synthesis of Sb@Ge Core-Shell Nanostructures by Pulsed Laser Ablation in Water)
The research aimed to synthesize Sb@Ge nanoparticles using the core-shell coating technique via pulsed laser in an aqueous medium, focusing on their structural, optical and electrical properties. The results showed that the particles are characterized by a cubic crystal structure and a small crystal size (21 nm), which enhances their potential in the fields of medicine, electronics and solar energy
The fourth research is entitled (Study of the nonlinear optical properties of gold nanoparticles mixed with distilled water (DDDW) by laser)
This research aimed to study the nonlinear optical properties of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) dissolved in a mixture of distilled water and ionized water (DDDW) using the “Z-scan” technique
