A training course at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on drawing chemical compounds using ChemDraw software.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “Drawing Chemical Compounds Using ChemDraw Software.” The course was presented by Asst. M. Radwan Ali Katea.
The course aimed to enable participants to use ChemDraw professionally to draw chemical compounds and organic reactions accurately and easily, while enhancing their understanding of how to correctly represent molecular structures according to scientific standards and academic publishing. The course also focused on developing practical skills in designing two- and three-dimensional chemical structures, using advanced tools to analyze the physical and chemical properties of molecules, and preparing interactive diagrams and scientific research reports.
The course recommended continuing to practice the program, updating knowledge of modern techniques for representing chemical compounds, and ensuring the application of correct standards in writing and documenting chemical drawings to serve scientific research and academic education.
