Visit of the CBRN Safety and Security Committee to the College of Dentistry, University of Al-Qadisiyah
The CBRN Safety and Security Committee visited the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University, headed by Professor Dr. Nabil Abdul Redha and committee members. They inspected the college’s laboratories and educational clinics, accompanied by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, his administrative assistant, and the heads of branches.
The visit aimed to assess the status of the laboratories and clinics, their suitability for use, and the college’s commitment to established preventive standards and procedures. It is part of the university’s efforts to ensure colleges’ readiness to deal with chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards. The importance of this visit lies in ensuring that the laboratories adhere to occupational safety standards and inspect the availability of the necessary equipment to deal with any emergency. It also aims to educate faculty members and students about hazards and emergency procedures.
