A training course on the diagnostic indicators of periodontal diseases was held at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah University.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a training course entitled “Diagnostic Indicators of Periodontal Diseases.” The course was presented by Assistant Lecturers Zahraa Jawad Hamidi and Faten Abdul Sattar.

The course aimed to introduce the epidemiological indicators of periodontal diseases, explain methods for measuring periodontal disease, plaque, and tartar, and clarify the criteria for evaluating periodontal and dental inflammation.

The course recommended the use of these indicators in clinics for accurate diagnosis, training medical staff on their application, and standardizing measurement criteria among dentists.
