A training course on blood typing was held at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah University.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a training course entitled “Blood Typing.” The course was presented by Assistant Professor Jamila Kadhim and Lecturer Zainab Sabah.

The course aimed to highlight blood types and the Rh factor, and how to conduct laboratory tests to identify blood types. It also addressed potential situations requiring blood transfusions and their effects on adults, in addition to training students on how to perform these tests. The course recommended a thorough understanding of blood transfusion procedures and the importance of knowing one’s blood type in medical emergencies, diseases, and general health.
