A training course on the role of the microscope in detecting bacteria causing oral diseases was held at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah University.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a training course entitled “The Role of the Microscope in Detecting Bacteria Causing Oral Diseases.” The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ruqaya Hussein Abdul Zubaid.

The course aimed to enhance the trainees’ skills in the optimal use of the microscope, how to examine and properly prepare bacterial samples, and to introduce them to different types of microscopes and their purposes. The course recommended encouraging students and trainees to conduct periodic tests to detect bacteria causing oral diseases in order to strengthen practical knowledge, promote cooperation between teaching laboratories and dental clinics to exchange experiences and real samples, and improve the level of training.
