A workshop on program accreditation for dental colleges was held at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah University.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, a workshop titled “Program Accreditation for Dental Colleges” was held at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah University, under the slogan “From Mesopotamia… Ideas Take Flight.” The workshop, part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week Festival, was presented by Assistant Professor Suha Alawi Hussein. The workshop aimed to clarify that academic accreditation is a documented recognition granted to an educational institution by an official body, indicating that the institution has met the minimum required standards. It is an evaluation process conducted by a specialized body based on specific criteria for various aspects of the educational process. The workshop recommended the necessity of fulfilling the requirements of program accreditation standards for dental colleges and the importance of holding workshops and seminars to raise awareness about these standards.
