Assistant Lecturer Radwan Ali Katea, a faculty member at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah University, published a scientific paper in collaboration with faculty members from the University of Mosul and the University of Hilla, in addition to two faculty members from Al-Qadisiyah University: Professor Abbas Al-Naili and Professor Hassan Al-Shamsi from the College of Education. The paper is titled “Rice-Derived Hetero-Catastrophes for Green Biosynthesis.” The research was published in the journal Molecular Diversity, published by Springer Nature, and ranked in the first quartile (Q1) in both Scopus and Clarivate databases. The paper presents a focused overview of the latest developments in using rice waste-derived materials as hetero-catalysts in green biosynthesis, emphasizing their importance as low-cost and environmentally friendly resources. It also discusses the efficiency of these materials in promoting various organic reactions, their reusability, and their role in reducing environmental impact, in line with modern green chemistry trends.
