Workshop at the University of Al-Qadisiyah’s College of Dentistry on Clinical Examination Skills in the Dental Clinic
The Continuing Education Unit at the University of Al-Qadisiyah’s College of Dentistry held a workshop titled “Clinical Examination Skills in the Dental Clinic,” presented by trainee dentists Shahad Jalil Hadi and Sajjad Jawad Abbas.
The workshop aimed to enhance dentists’ clinical examination skills and their ability to conduct comprehensive, systematic patient examinations. It focused on recognizing key clinical signs and identifying oral and dental issues at an early stage, thereby facilitating accurate diagnoses and the formulation of appropriate treatment plans.
The workshop recommended following a structured, methodical approach during clinical examinations, emphasizing the importance of obtaining accurate medical and dental histories, honing observation skills for the early detection of oral diseases, and utilizing diagnostic aids when necessary.
