The College of Dentistry at the University of Al-Qadisiyah held a peaceful protest against the decision to ban the hijab in educational institutions in Azerbaijan.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, along with faculty, staff, and students. The gathering served as an expression of solidarity with Muslim women, emphasizing the importance of respecting religious freedoms and a woman’s right to wear the hijab.

The protest underscored the necessity of safeguarding religious and cultural rights, and of fostering principles of mutual respect and tolerance within educational institutions—in alignment with human values ​​that guarantee freedom of belief and respect for religious and cultural diversity.
