The head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University participates in the meeting organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

Sponsored by the office of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by the Head of the Empowerment Department in the Ministry, A.M.D. Fatima Arees Sultan, under the auspices and guidance of the respected Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, represented by the Women’s Empowerment Division at the University of Al-Qadisiyah, M.D. Khatam Muhammad, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the respected Dean of the College of Dentistry, the head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Dentistry, M.M., participated. Atyaf Sarhan is happy with the women’s empowerment meeting organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Women’s Empowerment, which was held at the University of Kufa / College of Pharmacy. The meeting was attended by public and private universities of the Middle Euphrates.

The meeting included a number of topics, including working on the executive plan for the national strategy to combat violence against women and girls (2018-2023), following up on the progress made in implementing the second national plan for the women, security and peace agenda in implementation of UN Security Council Resolution (1325), the national initiative to support energy and reduce emissions. It includes several standards, including providing awareness-raising workshops and seminars for rationalization and sustainability, conducting internal and external field visits by women’s empowerment formations, and making periodic assurances about rationalizing water and energy and preserving cleanliness and the environment through making electronic awareness-raising publications on the websites and official pages of women’s empowerment unit formations.
