Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a workshop entitled (Types of dental x-ray films and their uses in dentistry) delivered by dentist Zain Al-Abidin Abbas.

The workshop aimed to introduce dental x-rays or dental X-rays as one of the important diagnostic methods in dentistry, what are its importance and benefits, in addition to explaining its types.

The workshop recommended that the dentist should know the implications of using each type of x-ray film, avoid technical errors resulting from misuse of x-ray equipment, how to solve them, and know the harms of dental x-rays to the doctor and references and how to prevent them.
