Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a workshop entitled (Kidney Functions and Urea Levels), in which Prof. Dr. Durar Kamel Jabbar lectured.

The workshop aimed to learn about kidney functions, most kidney diseases, the relationship of urea levels to the kidneys, and to learn about the blood urea nitrogen test and what happens when urea rises in the blood.

The workshop recommended the necessity of conducting a set of laboratory tests from time to time to evaluate the efficiency of the kidneys’ work in eliminating body wastes.
