A scientific workshop was held at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University to address the causes of intellectual extremism and ways to confront it.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazim Jaber Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the College of Dentistry held a scientific workshop entitled “The Causes of Intellectual Extremism and Ways to Confront It” as part of the Central Conference on Combating Intellectual Terrorism. Assistant Professor Dr. Enad Al-Naili presented the workshop.
The workshop aimed to define this term and extremist ideas, explain the causes of intellectual deviation, and address ways to confront it.
The workshop recommended the need for decision-makers to develop effective strategies to prevent and confront the phenomenon of intellectual extremism, and to activate the role of religious, educational, cultural, and media institutions in highlighting the seriousness of extremism in all its forms and manifestations.
