Atiaf Sarhan Farhan, head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the college, within the project (Ways to Strengthen Women’s Role in Preventing and Responding to Conflicts in the Regions of Southern Iraq), funded by the Women’s Fund for Peace and Humanitarian Action; The third meeting was held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, and was held by the (Women’s Rights Center in Samawah) and in coordination with the Diwaniyah Governorate, the Women’s Empowerment Section of the Engineers Syndicate, Diwaniyah Branch. The meeting included a brief reading of the agenda for the first and second meetings and a review of the progress achieved in Action items and resource mobilization efforts, as well as working on capacity building in terms of identifying the training needs of Forum members, developing strategic lines to involve the community in the Forum’s activities, and setting outlines to track and evaluate the Forum’s impact on conflict prevention and management.
And setting the next and future steps for the work of the forum by thinking about the importance of the tasks and responsibilities that fall on the forum and setting a date for a follow-up meeting after the launch of the work of the forum.
