Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, a workshop was held in the Continuing Education Unit of the College of Dentistry entitled (The Phenomenon of Global Warming), in which Assistant Agricultural Engineer Amal Jamil Youssef was present.

The workshop aimed to identify the phenomenon of global warming, its causes and the effects resulting from the phenomenon of global warming, and to provide possible solutions to reduce the phenomenon of global warming.

The workshop recommended the need to identify and strengthen measures that reduce carbon emissions while reducing air pollution, by including specific commitments to reduce emissions of short-lived climate pollutants in their nationally determined commitments, and ensuring that the commitments to value and protect health contained in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change are reflected. The Paris Agreement includes implementation mechanisms at the national and global levels
