Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, a training course was held in the Continuing Education Unit of the College of Dentistry entitled (How to collect blood samples, separate them, and use special tubes for that), in which M.M. Anwar Ali Moin, Miss Ban Abbas Karim, and Mrs. Saba Hamid Zaidan

The course aimed to introduce the importance of the general rules in drawing blood, the supplies required to draw blood from a vein, and the types of blood samples according to the type of laboratory test required. The practical part included a practical application of drawing venous blood, separating the blood with a centrifuge, and choosing the appropriate tubes for each test.

The course recommends the importance of preparing the patient for the blood drawing process, reducing his stress, maintaining the use of sterile tools, and then drawing the sample.
