Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (Seasonal influenza, how to detect it, and ways to prevent it), in which Prof. Dr. Ali Sabry and M. Technician: Wijdan Marza Abdel Hussein and M. Biologist: Ban Abbas Karim and M. Agricultural Engineer: Amal Jamil Youssef

The course aimed to identify the viruses that cause it, as seasonal influenza is an acute viral infection that affects the respiratory system, nose, throat, and lungs. It is easily transmitted from one person to another and spreads throughout the world and can infect any person of all age groups. It also aims to identify the symptoms of the disease, methods of spreading infection, and methods of preventing it.

The course recommended the need to encourage effective participation in controlling the spread of infection through washing hands, avoiding contact with sick people, and promoting health and safety by conducting the necessary tests to detect it.
