Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (Working on the Rotary Microtome), in which Prof. Dr. Khitam Abdel-Sada and M.M. Mustafa Hadi Jawad and M.M. Laith Hussein Hadi

The course aimed to introduce participants to the importance of tissue sectioning in diagnosing diseases histologically by introducing the methods used, how to take samples and deal with a tissue biopsy, the standards that must be followed in recording information about pathological samples, and explaining the types and importance of the fixation solutions used.

The course recommended that participants follow the most important steps in preparing tissue sections, tools, materials, devices and their types.
