Training course at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on determining blood groups

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (Determining Blood Groups) in which Prof. Jamila Kazim Abdul Hassan, Prof. Suha Alawi Hussein, Prof. Amir Abdul Kazim, and Prof. Nour Mahmoud lectured

The course aimed to educate the attendees about the necessity of determining blood groups for each individual, in addition to reviewing some of the problems facing individuals if their blood groups are not determined. It also showed the most important types of blood groups and identified the differences in groups and risk factors in blood transfusion and organ transplantation operations, as well as clarifying the main groups and rare groups

The course recommended the necessity of knowing the blood groups of each individual in society and conducting the test correctly in laboratories affiliated with the Ministry of Health and using the latest technologies in examining blood groups
