Workshop at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on Primary Health Care
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a workshop entitled (Primary Health Care) in which M.M. Faten Abdul Sattar, M.M. Rania Falah, M.M. Zahra Jawad, and M.M. Amjad Kamel lectured
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of primary health care as a global health program adopted by the World Health Organization in 1978 and to expand the base of understanding of health care levels, as primary health care is considered the basic building block of the health system in that it represents the first level of the three levels of health care
The workshop recommended working on expanding student participation in such workshops and urging students to visit primary health care centers in the field to understand the nature of their work and the health programs applied in them in that they are global health programs
