A training course at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on the skills of finding sources and correct academic citation in scientific research
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (Mastering Scientific Research: Skills of Finding Sources and Correct Academic Citation) presented by Eng. Radwan Ali Katea
The course aimed to enhance the scientific research skills of the participants, by teaching them how to search for reliable academic sources using scientific search engines and approved databases
The course recommended avoiding adding references and citations manually, as this may result in errors in documentation and formatting of sources. Instead, it is recommended to use reference management programs such as Mendeley, which allow accurate data entry and automatic extraction of reference lists according to the required academic patterns
