A training course at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on childhood obesity and its future risks
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (Obesity in Children and Its Future Risks) presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Widad Abdul Jawad
The course aimed to identify the complications that obesity leads to in children, which affect high blood pressure and high levels of triglycerides in the blood
The course recommended the need for complete monitoring by parents and changing the child’s nutritional behavior and avoiding the use of reward and punishment with food and avoiding sweetened drinks and soft drinks and reducing fast food rich in fats and calories
