The College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University holds its scientific and cultural festival
Under the patronage and attendance of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the College of Dentistry held its scientific and cultural festival entitled (Exhibition of Scientific Activities) and under the slogan (Homelands are built with science and knowledge)
The festival included opening with verses from the Holy Quran and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of the martyrs, then standing to play the national anthem. Then, the President of the University and the Dean of the College delivered their speeches, followed by the festival’s themes of presenting some valuable lectures and effective activities by some professors, in addition to presenting success stories of students and workers in the field of dentistry. The President of Al-Qadisiyah University was also honored in appreciation of his efforts to raise the level of the university academically and urbanistically.
It is worth noting that the aim of the festival is to develop and increase students’ skills in the field of scientific research and increase their research capabilities in various fields of medical sciences and develop students’ skills to participate in scientific conferences and festivals and build bridges of cooperation and develop and integrate Experiences between academic education and the labor market in the private and public sectors and continuing to communicate with graduates and develop their skills and benefit from their practical experiences. The festival came out with recommendations, the most important of which is the need to hold conferences and festivals on the same level to keep pace with the development in the world of dentistry and maintain continuous communication between academic education and the public and private sectors to discover what is new in the development of the dentistry profession.
