A lecturer at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University publishes a research paper in an international journal indexed in Scopus. Radwan Ali Katea published a distinguished scientific research paper in a prestigious international journal indexed in Scopus. The research is titled “Synthesis of Tetrahydrobenzo[b]pyran Derivatives Using Reusable CoFe₂O₄@SiO₂-CPTES-Melamine-Cu Nanocatalyst.” The research was published in the Journal of Applied Organometallic Chemistry, a prestigious international journal ranked in the first quartile (Q1) with a CiteScore of 6.2 according to Scopus. The research aimed to prepare a reusable magnetic nanocatalyst that can be easily extracted using an external magnet. It consists of a cobalt ferrite (CoFe₂O₄) core coated with a layer of silicon dioxide. (SiO₂) and its surface was modified by adding CPTES and then melamine glycol to functionalize copper ions (Cu), which in turn act as a catalyst in the reaction.
