A training course was held at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on the use of artificial intelligence in submitting research and correspondence to scientific journals.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “Using Artificial Intelligence in Submitting Research and Corresponding to Scientific Journals.” The course was presented by Asst. M. Radwan Ali Katea.
The course aimed to provide researchers and graduate students with the practical skills necessary to select the appropriate journal using publishing house search tools. It also aimed to utilize artificial intelligence techniques in preparing publication documents such as cover letters, highlights, conflicts of interest, and author contributions. It also aimed to familiarize them with and adhere to the authors’ guide for each journal. It also trained them on preparing scientific responses to editors and reviewers and drafting responses in a professional manner.
The course recommended the use of artificial intelligence in accordance with international standards as a helpful tool to reduce effort and time, while avoiding any form of plagiarism, and ensuring its responsible and ethical use, enhancing the quality of scientific research.
