A training course was held at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on the correct diagnosis of a patient with a dental nerve.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “The Correct Diagnosis and Treatment of a Patient with a Dental Nerve.” The course was presented by trainee dentist Mohammed Bashir and trainee dentist Shahd Jalil.
The course aimed to understand the systematic diagnostic process and comprehend the logical and sequential procedure for diagnosis, from receiving the patient to developing a treatment plan. It also aimed to understand the requirements of a successful diagnostician, identify the basic personal and academic qualities that a dentist must possess to ensure an accurate diagnosis, master the collection of medical history, learn how to obtain a comprehensive medical history, and identify the chief complaint.
