Faculty Member from the University of Al-Qadisiyah’s College of Dentistry Publishes Research in a Prestigious International Journal
Assistant Lecturer Radwan Ali Katea, a faculty member at the University of Al-Qadisiyah’s College of Dentistry, published a scientific research paper (a review study) in collaboration with researchers from the universities of Al-Hilla and Mosul. Titled “Green Synthesis of Isoxazole Compounds Using Recoverable Nanoparticles: A Significant Advance or an Overly Complex Alternative to Simpler Non-Magnetic Systems?”, the paper appeared in the journal *Chemistry Africa*—published by the global publisher Springer Nature—and is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
The study critically examined the use of magnetically recoverable nanocatalysts in the green synthesis of pharmacologically significant isoxazole compounds, focusing on cycloaddition reactions, multicomponent reactions, and condensation pathways.
