Training Course at the College of Dentistry, University of Al-Qadisiyah, Covers Nanocomposites and Their Application

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry, University of Al-Qadisiyah, held a training course titled “Nanocomposites and Their Application,” presented by Zahraa Jawad Hamidi and Ali Hamza Abd al-Sadah.

The course aimed to introduce the concept of nanocomposites, their physical and mechanical properties, their various types and components, and their use in restorative dentistry. It also highlighted the advantages of nanocomposites—specifically their role in enhancing the aesthetics and durability of dental restorations—while helping participants develop practical skills in tooth preparation and the application of nanocomposites according to established scientific standards.

The course recommended strictly adhering to approved scientific protocols when applying nanocomposites, ensuring proper isolation of the tooth during the procedure to guarantee successful bonding, and following the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the use of adhesive materials and light-curing durations.
