The Council of the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University hosts the Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Department at the University Presidency.
The regular meeting of the College of Dentistry Council held its ninth session for the academic year 2023/2024 on Monday, March 25, 2024, headed by the respected Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, Dean of the College of Dentistry, and the distinguished assistants and heads of scientific branches, and the Director of the Quality Assurance Department was hosted. And the academic accreditation in the presidency of the university is the respected Professor Dr. Rahim Jabbar Al-Hamzawi and the Director of the Quality Assurance Division in our college (M. Saha Allawi Hussein).
The requirements for preparing a description of the academic program and academic courses were discussed, in addition to the procedures for obtaining academic accreditation.
The Council praised the efforts of the Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Department, who expressed his constant willingness to communicate and follow up with the college. Because of the great importance of the topic, the Council then reviewed the important topics on the session’s agenda, including discussing the college activities form for the month of February, wage reductions for private government education students for students who have difficult humanitarian circumstances, and preparing for the distribution of food baskets and group breakfast for students of the boarding departments at our university, as well as Discussing proposals submitted by scientific branches for the purpose of study and approval.
The importance of enhancing the quality of research and articles published in international and local magazines and avoiding publishing in commercial and fake magazines was emphasized. At the end of the session, the Chairman of the Council thanked the attendees, wishing them success in their tasks.
